WELCOME
to the
British Columbia German Shepherd Dog Club's home on the web!
We are an active club and although our membership is small compared to some other clubs in the area, we are a group of people who love and have a deep commitment to the German Shepherd Dog. We are also a very
diverse group of people and our members are involved in a number of areas of interest that our breed is known to excel in. Our wonderful German Shepherds are not only beautiful to look at but they also shine in the obedience, herding, agility, and tracking
venues as
well. They truly are the breed for all reasons!
As a club, we put on several events each year. Our annual Specialty Show the first weekend in June brings out the best of the best to compete for top prizes and we also try to offer an all-breed temperament test
every other year. Based on interest, we will also schedule obedience, herding, tracking and conformation fun matches throughout the year as well.
Despite our diversity and varied interests, our club members all have one thing in common .... the love for the German Shepherd Dog and its health and welfare. No matter if you are a new German Shepherd Dog owner or
if you have been in the breed for many years, there is lots to learn and lots to do. So if you are a person who feels a deep commitment to this special breed and would like to help with club activities and meet new people, we'd love to have you join us!
